These celebs certainly think so–and whether you’re looking at Sharon Osbourne who dropped 23 pounds or Kim K who flaunted a 40+ pound weight loss, the one thing that isn’t in question is that these celebrities are looking good.
Who Needs Low Fat?
With beauties like Courtney Thorne-Smith becoming a spokesperson for Atkins, it’s pretty tough to go against this seemingly-impossible weight loss trend. I mean, who doesn’t want to look like her–and eat butter and steak at the same time?
Prepping For Shows
Since the Atkins diet is famous for allowing people to drop significant amounts of weight quickly, that could explain why celebs such as Renee Zellweger used it to go from a relatively-chubby Bridget Jones to the sleek and sexy dancer in Chicago quite quickly. While still restrictive in nature, the diet allows foods that would be completely forbidden on traditional low-fat diets, such as ranch dressing and bacon. Mmmm….bacon.
Of course, no one wants to choose a diet based on which celebrity was able to lose weight on it, right? Although most ladies wouldn’t be averse to drawing as many looks as Mrs. Kanye West–even after having a baby. Maybe there’s something to this Atkins diet after all!
